Mixed media on paper, 30″ x 22″ This is the first in a series of drawings I have started after my MFA residency. I did the sketches for this series last year, but they seemed an appropriate way to begin. One area of interest is to work from interior subjects that are not from my home. I am consciously placing ambiguous objects in front of the image as to block the viewer from entry.
